Mikey turned 5 today! We had a party at Monkey Joe’s for him and 3 of his classmates (Richard, Triston & Heidi) whose birthdays are close to Mikey’s. It was a blast! Below are a video and some pictures. Enjoy!

When I dropped Mikey off at Sycamore on Monday, I told his teacher that he really loves math. She mentioned there was another child (Tristan) in the classroom who does too. The past two nights, Mikey has said he’s played with Tristan (it’s the only name he’s mentioned) and this morning I met Tristan’s mom. [...]

The boys both got new belts this week! Mikey had his first belt test and after a few tries, finally broke his board and got his yellow belt! He was super happy Danny’s turn was on Thursday, and although he goofed off quite a bit, he got his belt without any trouble. As usual for [...]
